Accessibility
Made to be easy to read and easy to use.
Many resit students find reading or writing hard. Accessibility isn't an extra for us. It's the point.
Last updated 4 November 2026. Draft for the proof of concept: to be reviewed by a data protection professional before any pilot.
What you can do now
- Switch to an easier-to-read font (Atkinson Hyperlegible).
- Make text smaller or bigger.
- Choose dark or light mode. Dark is the default.
- Have any text or feedback read aloud.
- Talk your answers instead of typing, where your browser supports it.
- Move around with a keyboard. Buttons are at least 44 pixels tall for touch.
- Reduce motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, animation is switched off.
Our standard
We are aiming for WCAG 2.1 level AA. We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit. One is planned before any pilot, and we will publish what it finds.
Known gaps
- Voice answers depend on your browser. They work best in Chrome and Edge, and may be less accurate on some phones. Typing always works.
- Read-aloud uses your device's own voice, so how it sounds varies.
